Kiltix collar is an easy to use collar that destroys fleas and major types of ticks including brown dog ticks, bush ticks and paralysis ticks. The collar not only destroys ticks but also repels them. The non-irritant collar with insecticidal effect destroys fleas and ticks for 5 months although its effects on paralysis ticks last only for 6 weeks.

How does it work?

Flumethrin and Propoxur are the active ingredients of Kiltix collar. These ingredients with insecticidal effects destroy fleas and disease causing ticks found on dogs. The collar is designed for 12 weeks and older puppies and dogs. It also repels ticks through the ‘hot foot’ effect. Thus, it prevents new ticks from attaching the pet’s body.

The collar made up of high quality resin is non-combustible in nature. It weighs only 45 gm and has length equal to 66cm. Its waterproof nature adds to its life.

Directions

Let the pet be comfortable and not restless. Buckle up the collar in a manner that there is a gap of two fingers between the collar and the pet’s neck.

Cut the extra portion and dispose it. Ensure that the collar is not bucked up tightly as it may suffocate the pet. Remove the ticks on daily basis to minimize their disease causing effects on the pet.

Ask a Vet about the right time to use the collar if your pet is sick, convalescing or debilitated.

Safety
